Caramel Apple Smoothie


1 c          Spinach
1 c          Kale
1             Small sweet/tart apple such as honey crisp
1             Date (pitted)
1 tbsp    Almond Butter
1/2 tsp    Ground cinnamon
1 c           Ice cubes
3/4 c       Water
3/4 c        Almond Milk


Blend water, milk spinach and kale on high speed for 1 minute.  Add additional ingredients and blend on high for an additional minute.


If using a smoothie blender such as a Nutribullet or Vitamix, blend the greens and fluid on puree and then mix the remaining ingredients on the smoothie cycle.
